Founding Engineer

We're looking for a Founding Engineer to help build the future of AI-powered business operations for Indian SMBs. You'll work directly with the founders to architect and build our core platform, making critical technical decisions that will shape the product for years to come.
What you'll do
- Design and build scalable, reliable systems that handle millions of business operations
- Architect AI agent infrastructure that integrates with Indian government portals (GST, TDS, ROC)
- Build robust APIs and integrations with banking, accounting, and communication platforms
- Work closely with founders to translate product vision into technical reality
- Establish engineering best practices, code quality standards, and development workflows
- Mentor and grow the engineering team as we scale
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of experience building production systems at scale
- Strong background in backend engineering (Python, TypeScript, or Go)
- Experience with AI/ML systems, LLMs, or agent frameworks
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, databases, and API design
- Experience integrating with third-party APIs and handling complex data flows
- Strong product sense and ability to balance technical excellence with business needs
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
Nice to have
- Experience with Indian fintech, compliance, or business software
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, or other Indian tax/compliance systems
- Experience building AI agents or automation systems
- Previous experience as an early engineer at a high-growth startup
